Scrubbing signatures
This means that if your signature contains invalid HTML, there may be some escaped HTML showing up in your signature and/or it may not work as you intended.
This is necessary since the old code didn't filter HTML correctly and as a result, many people's signatures are causing some problems on the forums.
Forcing valid nesting (like you would need for tables) is beyond the capability of the code.
Since the only major use I can think of right now is tables, I decided it wasn't worth it.
