search is busted or at least inconsistant.
a search in the B5 forum for "google is your friend" yields 7 results, but not a post i made a few weeks ago.
<a href="http://search.audiworld.com/index.html?q=google+is+your+friend&u=&s=all&fl=on& cat=010001&db=1999-01-01&de=2005-10-18">search 1</a>
a search for just "google" yields the post i made as its second result. huh?
<a href="http://search.audiworld.com/index.html?q=google+&u=&s=all&fl=on&cat=010001&db= 1999-01-01&de=2005-10-18">search 2</a>
whats going on here?

You hit a small race condition
It works now BTW, like Smitty pointed out.
The problem is how the search index is updated. We update one portion of the index at a time, based on the key for the word. In this case, the index for 'google' is updated before 'your' and 'friend' ('is' is a stopword and excluded automatically):
'google' = 48e33f7c
'your' = e7ee2098
'friend' = 8bd09fdb
So it goes 'google', 'friend' and then finally 'your'. Not until all three are updated will you get a hit for all three words on that post. Depending on the number of posts we're merginging into the indexes, it can take up to about an hour to update all of the indexes.
In that window, which it looks like you hit, you can get these kinds of inconsistent results.
Today I've been catching up on a large backload of posts since the indexing was down because of non-existant document problem we had last week.

Whoa, I didn't mean to be offensive dude. I know you guys put a lot of blood and sweat into it.
That's why I said "maybe I'm just too dumb".
The only useful information i can give you is that i can't find posts that I know are there. Might be cause the index wasn't updated yet, dunno. But it's happened repeatedly. Next time I'll try to note it and give more detailed info.

Ahh, yes, but that's just a small subset of posts
and only a recent problem. I'm working on fixing the problem today and hope to have it fixed soon.
If you have more problems, please let us know, or we won't know there is a problem to fix.
