Damn! Why is everybody so irritable today?
I've tried several image hosting sites and they either place an "Image hosted by xxxxx" or won't let you link through another site. Your suggestion is appreciated. Your insult is uncalled for.

Some people that are weak in real life get their rocks off insulting other people on the net...

all the effort you have put forth on this thread... yet a google search for "free webhosting" gives you several options.
Your question about why it gets deleted has been explained numerous times and is on the pictureposter page itself.
Im a smartalec and wiseass in real life as well as the internet.. and i can attest im not impotent. LOL.

You still don't get it
A picture is a picture, we don't differentiate.
The whole problem is resources. By coming up with some arbitrary scheme for differentiating one picture between another picture will make things more complicated than it is right now.
Then factor in the abuse that will inevitably follow, it will be more a drain on our time.
How is this advantageous? So you can post a picture that you can download from somewhere else on the net? Just link the damn picture.

Isn't this <i>exactly</i> what you're doing now? You have to go through the picture posters and differentiate between pictures with audi content and pictures without.
I understand your concern about becoming a free picture posting service for the web. If you don't want to make a special allowance for sig pics, wouldn't it be better to limit the number of files in each picture poster (I think you do this) and prevent linking to them from outside of audiworld....? Then people could keep their audiworld sig pics on audiworld (what a concept!) and you wouldn't have to police the picture poster directories. But perhaps this isn't possible.

Yes, we do go through and delete pictures which aren't Audi related. BUT, and this is the important that you won't listen to, we don't differentiate pictures based on WHERE they will be used on the site (in a post or a signature), which is exactly what you are asking us to do.
I'll try to explain this to you one more time. We're not in the picture hosting business. We developed the picture poster as a service with a limited scope and we intend to leave it that way.
If it doesn't meet your needs, then I suggest finding an alternative picture hosting service.
