Default I thought in theory CSS would allow us to manage our own fonts..

but i don't know how as of yet

Default CSS defines a standard. Looks like IE doesn't follow it

and even worse, follows it inconsistently

Default yeah..

you used to be able to page through different font sizes.. and now only the secondary text (the small stuff in my post) changes.. and the other font stays around size 14.. --

Default Mozilla does, and the current stylesheet is just way too big...

On my box with 1600x1200, its really nice, no squinting, but the x-terminal in my living room is 800x600, and I can't fit much on the screen at this sort of a font size.

Default Works for me with Mozilla under Linux

That's what I'm using right now. It's been my primary browser for a while

Default CSS changed a billion times

Started out at "small". But that wasn't consistent across browsers. Tried "smaller", but it didn't look right on some browsers. Tried "11pt" and "10pt" and one of those looked good on our sample of browsers, but caused lots of problems for readers here.

Ended going back to "smaller" which appears to be the most consistent.
