July 6th is less than a week out and the last day to take advantage of early registration for the July 12th Audi Mileage Challenge. Test your driving skills on a 140 mile MPG rally that starts at Crown Audi in Clearwater with a continental breakfast and finishes at Classic Audi in Altamont Springs with a cook out lunch. The course encompasses interstate, urban, suburban and rural roads and towns as we visit some of the less traveled byways in the state of Florida. Up to $1600 in prizes are available and can be shared amongst the proposed 13 classes, winners and runners up, as they vie not only to show how economically they can drive their Audis but for the even more important bragging rights and camaraderie of it all. If there is only one car in a class, there will be some consolidation and handicapping. The course has been run a number of times with three different classes and here are some bench mark figures. A 2.0T Cabrio 34 MPG, A8L 4.2 27 MPG, and a Q7 3.0 TDI 27.3 MPG
