I trained at Jackson Memorial years ago and haven't been back to the area since then.

I'll be down with the wifey and a few friends starting tomorrow Sunday until Wednesday. It'll be nice to go back and visit, see how things have changed. I used to live at Collins and 26th, i wonder if my old condo is even there still!

Does anyone have any suggestions on things to do? Esp for Sunday and Monday night? Restaurants, bars, clubs that are fun and have good music? 10 years ago, we didn't have much money and so we couldn't afford to go to places like Level all the time (is that even there anymore). We tended to go to Monty's on the Beach and ate cheaper stone crabs and drank cheaper beer.

As far as restaurants, make sure you visit Joe's. Arrive early so you can get a good table.

I love the News Cafe on Ocean, but it's more of a lunch place imho

I've been thrice in the past year and all three times I left disappointed; but my mother loves their prime rib so if that's your fare, go for it.
