1988 90 2.3 I5 MC1-turbo conversion help
Guys I need help. I have 1988 Audu 90 quattro with 2.3 I5 MC1 engine, CISIII. I want to put a turbo from audi 5000. I need to know do I have to change from CIS III to EFI(advantages and disadvantages) as well as what do I need to have(in terms of parts) to make the conversion. Do I need additional sensor. Do I need to make modifications on the ECU if I decide to keep the CISIII. PLease help. I'll appreciate it a lot. Thanks

Sorry! .. Hardly ever go to the 80/90 world.
But the links you gave were quite "entertaining", as it were.
I guess if you one isn't at the 'comfort level' of maybe pulling a motor, or changeing a clutch in a quattro, maybe doing a turbo conversion isn't such a good idea.
Even less so, converting to EFI...?
Lots of research & figuring out is required. But that's half the fun!
