Default if I only knew who these Myke and Den were I'd have somewhere to start...

I don't know who anyone is yet, I guess I'm just too new around here. What are their forum names?

Cheers,

Colin

Default Myke is the guy on audiworld. I dont think Den gets on.

Myke is known as Toxcheap and Den is famous for the car name ... evilwagon. like i said, i don't believe Den gets on. check out their site @ www.toxcheap.com

Default Im running the ARP undercut studs with a metal Urs4 head gasket.

Does anyone know if the summit racing 8mm nuts are copper?

Eagle day has copper nuts for less. ( 4 for 2 dollars)

The plated internal hex bolt kit they sell has been invaluable. With the washer kit and some of std. hex head bolt kits its pretty everything you need.

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/eagleday/sohebo.html</a

Default Is the 20vt headgasket thicker?? I have 2 next to me right now,...

And they are multi layered... like 4 layers...vs the mc's 1 layer... Is this making for a thicker HG? Yea i knwo what you mean James about those hex nuts......

Default We measured it against a KW head gasket and it was about the same

I'm not sure about a 10V gasket.

The KW was a thick 1 layer fiber piece with metal rings around the piston openings. The UrS4 gasket looked like a superior product and was about the same thickness at the KW.

Default Myke's leaked a very small amount to me, but now I can't remember what it even was....

I'm not going to look to see if I saved it either, as I don't want to step on any toes.

Myke will let some of the secrets go, but I also know that he's the type of person who thinks that "hey, I/we spent the time and money to figure it out, so should you, or at least attempt it and put some thought into it first". I'm sorta the same way.

as koop says, gotta figure it out for yourself. Maybe if you were tryin it and were having trouble, he might, but i can't speak for him.

Default well i would think no matter what, EFI ...

Is better than any CIS modified to the brim(correct me if I'm wrong)
But then again the tricks Myke and Den used had to be a lot cheaper than switcing to EFI. Thats the whole plan, speed on the cheap!
