ive got a 1993 audi s4 it went in for its m.o.t but while at the garage the mechanic cut the wires to the siren as the alarm was going off.managed to get it home without a problem but tried starting it now but it wont fire,no spark. could the modules for the coil pack that are situated on the bulk head of broken down? also i have a brown wire hanging down near the back of the fuse box?? just bought this car and this is how it is!!!!!!!

not sure, but i would think your car is in "no theft" mode. you may want to try unhooking the battery for a while, even overnite, and maybe the alarm code/system will reboot. otherwise, i would take it back to the mechanic who cut the alarm wire, and have them fix/figure it out.

I had this happen to a friend of mines A4. like said before, pull the positive battery connection and keep unconnected for about 15 seconds, thats all you need, not over night. your clocks may reset but ya. and bring it back to the mechanic and backcharge them for F**cking up your car!
