Low oil pressure sensor location?

Low oil pressure sensor location?
I need to know where the low oil pressure sensor is located on a I-5, 2.2L "MC" code engine? I'm trying to tap into the oil system with a mechanical pressure guage so that I can see if my oil pump is producing enough pressure.
Any help would be great, PICS would be fantastic!
Cheers

Re: Low oil pressure sensor location?
there are 2 low oil pressure sensors on the driver side of the engine block, tapping in to either should give you the same result, however the lower one is much easier to get to from under the car. they are both single wire sensors and look identical.

Just make sure
that when you put it all back together afterwards that the wires for each sensor go on the right one. The oil galleries are the same for what you're trying to do, but the actual senders are different for the gauge and the warning.

Hi,
The oil pressure gauge in the Audi is extremely reliable. If it shows low pressure, you've got low pressure. There shouldn't be a reason to try to attach and external gauge.
Is the problem a question of low pressure?
