Real boost only above (exactly) 4000 rpm?
What on Earth could mechanic do (or connect) wrong during complete engine rebuild, so car have no useful boost under 4000rpm, but exactly at 4000 rpm it starts boosting and goes like it should, except for minor cutting which I attribute to some small boost leak?
Car is A200 20v with 3b engine and RS2 components, but after rebuild I run it for few thousand km with standard turbo etc., and it behave the same, eg. no real boost under 4000 rpm. Fact that change happends at exactly 4000 rpm leads me to theory that it's something electrical/electronical, what do you people think ? Is there some component which starts beeing used at 4000 rpm ? Thank you, Mario |
