To follow up on my request for a 2 ch amp, I ended up buying one from ebay
 

A Sansui B-77 2 channel dedicated amp, circa early 80's. From what I was able to find about this unit, the sound quality is supposed to be quite good and the price was right too ($30+s/h). Anyone have experience with Sansui brand? Suppose to receive it sometime next week.

My parents have a Sansui in one of the spare rooms... they have issues with the switches
 

making bad contact over time, so it would make a crackle when switching over... Opening it up and cleaning the contacts would solve it for a few more years.

I assume you're talking about a preamp, the amp doesn't really have any switches, just power on/off
