front bumper insert

Does anyone happen to have a front bumper insert (with plate bracket) that would fit a 2003 S8? I have been searching for one for months on the internet without success ... mine must have either fallen off or something.

I tried to order one through HBL in Tysons but was told that it was on backorder (and I quote) "forever."

Any other dealers might have that part? I am even willing to pay the outrageous $150 pre-painted price tag ...

Here's some info...

Flat trim panel is 4D0 807 287L GRU (108-174), while the one with the plate cutout is 4D0 807 287K GRU (120-191). Both come unpainted from the dealer, and both are available at all warehouses. Hope that helps.

Can you advise as to what a "warehouse" is? Is that dealer stock or open directly to the public?

Warehouses are regional distribution centers that only provide to dealers.

If the dealer you went to didn't want to order it, ask them to reorder it saying that the frame has come back in stock now.
