I had my brother's dog this weekend, too. Guess it was a weekend for dog-sitting.
I love having her around, but you're right...it's a big responsibility that requires some changes in your daily life. My bro gets up at 5:45 every morning, and so does the dog. I was not interested in being nudged by her nose at 5:45am on a Saturday morning. Crazy mutt.

My wife used to get up at 5:30 but does not anymore. Dogs have not realized the change in schedule
and still want to get up at that god awful hour.
