Through a friend in NYC, i can pick up a 14 mo lease up to 25K miles on an '07 RS4 for $600/mo. Please tell me that there is absolutely no way to say no to this. Gratuitous pic for views

Default Leasing right now is a BAD idea, residuals are super low (unless you own a business and are leasing

for tax purposes.

You can finance almost 30 grand for about that (on a 5 year loan) as long as you can get good (<=3.9% APR) rates.

Edmunds TMV for dealer on that RS4 is 45.4, so if you can wrangle up 15 grand up front, you can own the car for ~$600/month!

http://www.edmunds.com/used/2007/audi/rs4/100701256/prices.html</a

Default Just because your friend was getting screwed royally, that doesn't mean he set the right baseline

Your friend was paying $1200/month for a freaking car? Really? $1200/month? On a car!

There is no way in the world that anybody could convince me that paying $1200/month for a freaking car is a smart investment. I don't care what you earn or how well you can afford it. That's $200 more than my mortgage!

Like the thought but seems silly if you can own the car for the same monthly payment.

for the record, this was the last topic started on AWMA in the KAWF era.

And oh yeah, im going to collect the car on Sunday. Resid is $32K, paying 7K to rent for 14 months and the option to pick up at 32K is worth it.
