Driving from Nashville to St Louis, I-24 vs I-69
Usually we go I-24, but I see on Google maps it's only ~17 minutes longer on I-69N up through Madisonville and Evansville, then West on I-64 to St L. Anybody familiar with either of the routes - construction, scenery, other - please enlighten me with your knowledge.
Also why is it "Midwest" when it's clearly in the center of the USA? Should be "Central US".

Absolutely head north to Madison/Evansville. There is crazy bad construction and delays around Paducah. Stay off 24 around there. Take 69/41 and (tip!) use the Evansville bypass to get you to 64. Faster and no stops.
41 isn't too exciting but you'll practically have it to yourself. Just came that way from Road Atlanta.
