1986 / 5000cd turbo electrical questions

1986 / 5000cd turbo electrical questions
Car stalled during driving and since then is a no start
Tested all sensors which seem to be all right - but still no spark
Tried to do the fault code reading but have the following problems:
1. ignition on: electric ignition warning light flashes constantly
2. insert fuse in fuel pump relay: stops from flashing
3. after 4 seconds take fuse out: it flashes constantly does not indicate any codes
Any suggestions.......Please help

Wire from ECU to module shows no resistance.
ECU: power goes to unit and grounds are checking out ok
ECU: dead??
