A6 Avant 3rd seat

Does anyone have a 98 or older A6 Avant w/3rd seat? How is the size? Can two adults safely sit in it, or only for children? Thanks.Steve Schmidt 98 1.8TQS TIP

I have a '97 A6qw. The third seat is small. At 6' 2" I can not fit into it at all, my head hits the roof and my knees would hit the rear hatch.The label on the 3rd seat says something like this: For children over 3 years of age, between 50-90 pounds and under 5 feet tall.

Russ:Can I use the 3rd seat to hold a 4 month baby in a car seat? Or, is it legal to do so? Thanks.
