Arg, another problem arose today..
Posted this to the 12v mailing list, but was curious if anyone here knew what was going on..
"yikes, my check engine light came on today
so I pulled over and noticed that EVAP Frequency Valve was pulsating
rapidly.
After a few min, it stopped.. so I started the car again, and about 2-3 min
it came on again and sure enough the EVAP frequency valve was pulsating
again.
Turns out, that after afew min the Whole valve starts pulsating like crazy,
and stops after another 2-3 min. Obviously this is linked the emission
control, so I felt it was safe to drive home... but I would rather not cause
any perm damage.
Anyone have any clue what is going on? My guess is something wrong with the
connector or something, and my exhuast is probably pretty dirty...
Anyone who has a bently manual, or have any insight?

The passage in the intake manifold can be cleaned
if clogged. The EGR valve can usually be cleaned
if clogged. Most of the time the EGR's rust and stop functioning.
