Default Audi 4000s
When I put in the fuse for my rear defogger the engine cuts off, what is up with that?

Audi only hired electricians fired by Lucas until 1997.5

Default The defogger circuit is loading down your electrical system. There is something wrong with
that circuit. What else is on the defogger circuit and are you using the right size fuse?

Default Sounds like you have a poor connection in the feed side...
when you add the load of the defogger it drops the voltage enough to cut off the ignition. The defogger is about the heavest thing that is switched on the car, so I'm thinking maybe the ignition switch itself.
