cv boot...hole
We put a small hole in the boot while replacing the front struts.
I don't believe in replacing a bad boot with one one of those that you put over the broken one however the hole is so small and the car hasen't moved since it was made so everything is still inside.
So in this case would the replace over boot work?

Your best option is to replace the boot!
Do it now before it gets worse, or you forget about it, and wind up buying a new CV, or find out the trouble with rebuilt axles!
