Engine dies cold at 75 MPH
or even higher speeds, on my 93 100S with 124K miles. It's just like someone turned the key off; the engine stops, the dashboard idiot lights come on, and the check engine light flickers.
Wait 20-30 seconds, turn the key, and it starts right away. As you can guess, at these speeds, I'm still coasting in many cases, if on a incline, I may have to pull on to the shoulder.
Driving from DC to St. Louis yesterday, this happened 8-10 times, until the cooler temps in the evening, when it ran good. This happened last summer, too, always in hot weather, never in the winter.Two dealers could not fix it; put in fuel pump, pump relay, and downloaded fault codes; got nothing. Any ideas would be appreciated; I drive to Dallas Tuesday.

Have your return fuel lines checked out....
It sounds like your gas is getting too hot and causing cavitation at your fuel pump.
You should also have your charcoal canister checked out too, it could be "plugged"!! I would think that you may have a kinked return fuel line though.
