Help! Window Problem
I have a 1996 Cabriolet. A few weeks ago, the driver side window would be touchy about going up. Now, none of my driver side window controls work, (neither does the passenger side control) but the center window switch (to lower all 4 at once) works on all windows but the driver side front window. I took the driver side window controls apart to ensure good contacts on the switches and even changed them around - still nothing - any ideas or am I Dealer-bound?? Thanks!!

Check the wiring in the driver's door.
The wiring from the car to the door goes through a rubber boot or similar. On old cars those wires can break from being flexed too many times. You can add a couple of inches to each wire, but it is tedious. Be sure to use multistrand wire of the smallest gauge possible - and keep the solder joints small.
