Install a turbo engine?
I own a 1986 5000s non-turbo, My tranny went bad again. So this time I was thinking about repalacing my non-turbo engine with a MC code tubo. Afer all I have to replace the tranny anyways. Has anyone tryed this convert? Is it Hard? Thanks

Would be a fair bit of work...
all of the engine controls are different, so you'd have to change the wiring harness under the hood, and maybe the exhaust system as well. Can't help but think that you'd be happier trading up to a little newer one with the features you want, and spending your time on that

Automatic?
If you have the Automatic, your time would be better spent converting to a 5spd. It really changes the car. If you put a Turbo in front of an Automatic then you will only blow it out even more often. You can put in a turbo, but expect to drive something else for at least 2 months.
