Default They are sold for multiple makes / models (all are actually on the CDROM), but the $20 purchase.....

allows one to be software enabled, so you may view it. Additional make/model/year can be activated, for additional $. The CD ROMs are grouped like : Foreign, Makes A (Audi) thru M (Mazda), 1990 thru 1993, and so on. These CDROMs are actually the consumer version of the Alldata brand, (see alldata.com), which is a copy of the Audi Factory Service manual.

Default I once fell victim to these................

They're very 'abridged' versions of the factory(Bentley) manuals, and often have much info missing due to copy right laws! Their info looks more like the older "Haynes" manuals more so than the Bentley's.

The $100 you spend for an "official" manual more than pays for it self over time, especially if you do your own work, and plan on keeping your Audi for a while! Tax deductable for buisness
owners! Reselling one is never a problem. Ebay seem to have a few manuals all the time!

Default Get the official manual!

Get the Official Factory Repair manual
Not the service manual. The service manual STINKS! (do not even tell you how to chang air filterr says you should take it to the dealler)ok if youre not a mechanic.
I paid $120 for the officical book I helped so much with the head job I did on my 1990 80.

Try www.booksamillion.com. I've been searching for weeks for a REASONABLY priced Bently for my 90 100 and found it there NEW for $107. Good Luck!

http://http:www.booksamillion.com</a

The Bentley site (http://www.bentleypublishers.com/resource.htm?subject=26) has the manuals for $145, and a CDROM version for $100. I'm considering buying the CD, and printing the pages as needed.
On the other hand, I'm not looking forward to a dirtier keyboard...
