One fine day...
What a day. On this day i nothing to do os i tackled my 85 5000s. I fixed many broken interior parts and such (replacing door handles is becoming routine). I replaced the instrumnet panel (you need small hands or wrist to attach the speed indicator to the panel, i have the scatches to prove it. I also recalibrated the steering wheel (after 2 tries). The only things left to do are to fix all power windows (and i do mean all!), fix the cruise control, fix the odometer (sadly the instrument panel i put in didn't help), and so many other things, that it wouldn't be fun to list. However, it's fun to fix my audi, with many porblems left to fix, i may be having fun right into the year 2000 .

Once you're done, I'm sure you'll totally enjoy your 5000. By the way, how come you haven't tackled the little lights in the seat heater switches (or isn't your car so equipped)? And wohat aobut the "Bomb"? I think I took my Coupe Quattro switches apart about twice on each switch, and the "bomb" (hydraulic pressure accumulator) was a real joy as well. Have fun!

I'll be replacing switches often..
I am sort of glad that my car doesn't have seat heaters, they sound like a pain to replace. However, my car has power windows (which will work when i find some good parts), and many other electrical components. The brake pads need to be replaced (the warning light came on the other day). As for the brake booster, i have yet to see a problem with it, however, i may be running out of luck. Once its fixed, i will enjoy my audi much more (not that i don't like it now, its a blast to drive).
