Replacing stereo in 96 A6
 

Does anyone know where i can get a kit for a 96 A6..? in lltek's catalogue there is a kit that will fit A4 and 98+ A6, any adaptatoin I can do to make it fit in my car?.. thanx alot

I've used lltek's part on my A4. The A6 part(s) are 4 pieces vrs the A4's two. The installer said it worked very well. He modified the pieces (screwed them in place--no change to the exterior appearance) and said they worked very well. lltek says the pieces are made for Audi, and the color/texture matches the similar pieces in the dash. If the A6 parts work as well as the A4 parts, it should allow a din-standard head to be installed, with the "kit" pieces filling in the rest of the dash opening, and making for a clean installation.
