I just co-won a 2007 Electra-Glide Classic and I'm very tempted to buy the other half and trade it in for a Night Rod Special.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/Content/Pages/2008_Motorcycles/2008_Motorcycles.jsp?swfsec

bought it as a coming home present after running 2 tours in iraq.

we got cut off in a curve and he laid her down. she was totaled.

he had no luck with the bike. at 205miles on the odometer the starter went south and the curve crash happened at 455

http://gallery.htd.net/v/WTM/crash/</a

Default Before I got the Buell, I had a 2002 VRSCA. It was a good enough bike.

I never got better mileage than maybe 31mpg. It took off like greased lightning, but didn't have much more than 80 miles of range before the "reserve" light would come on. The newer bikes probably have a larger fuel tank by now, which would help. Winding that bitch out through the gears at redline is an incredible experience.

The Buell, on the other hand, with a similarly sized gas tank, will go at least 150 miles before the light comes on. I'm getting close to 50mpg, and I can get better than that if I'm on the highway and let the closed-loop fuel mapping get itself calibrated in and lean out the mixture.

Default I rode my buddy's Night Rod before he sold it.

Not too bad, but I'd prob pass for the $$ and what you get.

BLVD M109 instead!

Default Stock, other than the steel supports for the hard luggage.

I don't know what else I'd want to do. I don't feel like I need more power or torque. The only thing I'd consider would be a taller top gear, simply for better highway mileage (I'm probably never going to redline in top gear).
