Hit up the track for a four hour session last Thursday.
Finally got the new take off mounted on the front, but I wanted to scrub the back down and wear it out over a couple track days before I put my second take off on it too.
Over my first few laps I became ridiculously impressed with the take off and over the course of the night, it saved my pooper more than a few times. The added confidence left me late braking a few times, but the front tire would always, always stay glued to the track - no signs of slippage under braking or cornering anywhere. For $75 and 60-70% side tread left, the saying "ridiculously impressed" doesn't even begin to state how happy I was.
The back tire was my older street tire (1-2 years old) though and I have to say, losing your two wheel drifting virginity sure can scare the shat out of you awfully quick! I checked the hot tire pressure after the second session out and realized that it was close to 38 PSI! After dropping it down to 31 (hot) I had absolutely zero problems on the traction front and I couldn't have been happier with the bike.
Due to poor body positioning, I scraped both of my pegs and my boots a couple of times. After correcting my body positioning (adjusting my arm positioning and leaning further forward) and tucking my toes in tighter, I was super happy with the corner speeds I was able to keep up and just how easily it allowed me to get my knee down. I'm still not near as smooth as I'd like to be and my downshifting while braking is still awkward and clumsy, but hopefully I'll be able to get some tips and correct that before I head back out.
If you've never been out to the track, I'd highly suggest you head out!

Good stuff
Next time out try scooting up on the seat and sitting more upright instead of leaning further forward. This will reduce the lean angle even more through the turns and allow you to carry more speed around the track.

You probably don't want to back you R1 into turns so that'd be a no...I fail at sarcasim
Form really varies person to person but it looks like you are doing the right things...***** of you feet on the pegs, toes in, elbows in, head up.
Are there instructors at the track you can work with to fine tune your form?
