I realize that Monster is a race sponsor...but do we have to have a fvckin' Monster Energy sticker on the side of our bike!?! SRSLY!?!? IMO, this is nothing but a blatant attempt to sell RACE MOTORCYCLES to KIDS! And yes, I think 18-22 year olds riding motorcycles are "kids". Of course, there are exceptions with people who grow up riding and blah blah blah...but a Monster Energy 165mph+ sportbike!? They even have the same paint scheme on a ZX-14!!! Ridiculous *shaking head*. Time to start selling turbo-tricycles and supercharged Power Wheels. </rant>

Default No doubt the graphics are, how do the kids say it, teh ghey. As far..

as who will buy it, I don't know that a monster paint scheme is going to make kids want it more or not. If someone want's to buy a motorcycle mainly because of a paint scheme, and doesn't realize all of the other factors, chances are they shouldn't be riding.

Default What about repsol and all the other replica race bike schemes that are sold..

Those graphics might make a bike more attractive to the noobs?

Default Blatant attempt to sell race bikes for street use. Yes unacceptable but not because of the stickers.

Who else buys such a bike other than "kids"? Stickers don't change the target market.

It sounds to me that you think the driving age should be increased, period. If they aren't responsible enough to choose their ride, they aren't responsible enough to ride. Choosing the ride is the easy part - what you do with it on the street is far more important.

Default Um, motorcycle companies have been selling race bikes for street use for many years.

Why are you bent out of shape over that particular one?

Default What? They're two completely different things...

...like Repsol is OIL and Monster Energy is an energy drink that KIDS buy! I have no problem at all with factory race sponsor kits when they're for oil, fuel, or some sort of apparel or gear (I won't get in to the cigarette sponsors)...but for a kid's drink??
