Default Well, if im not mistaken, that bike has a plastic fender that comes out over the rear wheel....

...with the license plate on it and all. THere is a kit avail that moves the mount of the plate and gets rid of that rear fender. Looks much tidier. Then, get a 'hugger' fender for the rear wheel to keep splashing down...=]

Nice bike. I'm in love with their Sport Classic line.

How is it for a first bike? Easy to handle?

You're ugly! I disagree, but I do think there are some aftermarket single exhaust kits. Not sure...

Default Great...

I had absolutely no experience in motorcycles, but I've driven manual cars my entire life, and I raced bicycles in college (laugh all you want, but I see some similarities) and I had no problem picking it up. My time line didn't allow me to take a MSF course before purchasing the bike (I'll take it in about a month) so I had a friend with a lot of experience spend a couple of hours with me the first day. Then I spent 50 miles worth of time practicing in parking lots and local residential streets. Since then I've worked my way up through different levels of traffic and now I feel pretty comfortable in just about any situation. The riding position is very relaxed, and the power is absolutely enjoyable without scaring me.

Obviously I can't compare it to another bike, but I'm in love with this bike and I have no regrets.

Default Great to hear...

I've wanted a monster for a while.

I'm definitely going to take the MSF course first - my only riding experience is on automatic scooters in India, so I need to take the course.

Only thing that's held me back is scheduling the course in, I was going to try and find a used 620 to start with.
