Default New ride in the family.

My 13 yr old daughter joins the motorized 2-wheel family:

Default Sweet that you're getting her started young!

In 70%+ of motorcycle spills people hit their chin or the side of their face, so make sure you get her a full face (even a dirt bike lid) as soon as you know she likes it.

Even though it doesn't go all that fast, jeans and gloves might save her from a few low speed scuffs too.

Default BTW, I'm all for ATGATT, but this thing is slower than a bicycle.

I'm not trying to make excuses for not wearing proper equipment, but the biggest thing I'm worried about is that it's so small that visibility is an issue.

If we had sidewalks in our neighborhood I'd only let her ride on those, not the street.

Default That's awesome. Is she actually interested in motorcycling and...

...that's her starting platform? The sport needs more females.

Default FVCKING massive 298392839nd!!! She looks like she'll grow up to be a pretty woman, don't ruin that

by not taking the proper safety steps.

ALSO... ABSOLUTELY be sure she rides only during the day and she keeps the basic common sense that's required to ride a bicycle.

You may have been better off getting her a dirt bike instead of a street/scooter.

Default well.. first, i wasn't trying to be a jerk, just don't want that pretty little lady to get hurt. If

you find she takes to it well, move her over to the dirt where she'll learns tons more in 1 year than she will in 5 on the street. Goodluck, and that's awesome!!

Default It's a relative statement.

No need to detract away from other's achievements by trying to supersede them with your own.
