Wonder how much the tests are allowed to vary state to state? It seemed pretty easy for everyone
the day that I took the test. There were many sportbikes easily passing. Honestly the only people who had any issues were those who seemingly couldn't understand the instructions....
In Indiana the riding tests are conducted entirely by ABATE. Is that typical? It was actually in a Harley dealer's front parking lot.

well where are you located and what does the test consist of? the njdmv test consist of....
4 offset cones you have to swerve through.
1 u turn within a certain painted off area
a "high speed" 10+mph controlled stop
one "high speed" swerve (you have to avoid a 6ft line in the road
1 tight 90 degree turn within lines.

as far as I remember those are the same parameters as in the Indiana test
I remember there being different requirements based on the displacement of the bike being used; specifically the u-turn, anything under 500cc had to make something like a 4-5 foot smaller radius.
