"Topgear" in the F1 paddock???
Bet even Kimi would crack a smile with Jeremy Clarkson sticking a mic in his face.<ul><li><a href="http://www.planet-f1.com/story/0,18954,3213_3343346,00.html">"HAMMOND IN POLE POSITION FOR BBC JOB"</a></li></ul>

if you watch the episode where he drives the Renault F1 car, he makes the claim that F1 isn't all
that.
Now granted, after driving the car, he changes his opinion on it a bit. But still not sure if he has become a fan of the series.

Every Top Gear that Jeremy brings up F1, Hammond (and May) just roll eyes
He did drive the Renault F1 car not too long ago, but it really didn't change his mind about the series.
He's always said it's rather boring and pointless.

hamster has a point
how many times have people claimed F1 is won in qualifying and turn 1 (or maybe 2 depending on the track)?
The rest of the race is like parade laps, unless either A. driver makes a mistake B. mechanical failure C. pit stop mistake.
It can't be denied the technological marvels F1 cars are, and the drivers have insane skill (as evidence by hamsters performance in the F1 car). But the races themselves? There are more exciting series to watch for the actual racing (Grand Am, World Challenge, etc.).
