any thoughts on PDA in the NE?

I've done PDA events
At LRP where I run with them, they do 5 run groups and 20 minute sessions. That ends up with fairly lame track time, usually 4 sessions. That's probably more a function of LRP being short and popular than anything else. I've heard that they only run three groups at the Glen.
PDA is an old organization with a bunch of old time regulars. Seems like some old mustang always breaks and dumps oil when I'm at their events. Their events are well attended.
As for safety, they do what it takes to get HPDE insurance. No open passing in advanced (at least at LRP), they still use point-bys.

I will be debuting a new steed this year
2005 Mazdaspeed Miata (the turbo version) fully stripped with cage, black. Picked up at insurance auction a couple of months ago, <3000 miles. Shooting for 2250lbs with driver and ~200rwp with better intake/exhaust/intercooling and a mild bump in boost. Should be a hoot!
I'm not sure what dates I'll be running, but it is time to start thinking about the track calendar for 2007, maybe this will motivate me to plan it out.
And what will you be driving?
