Anyone ever seen this? This is on approximately 1 year old GY Eagle F1 GS-D3.14159's or whatever the normal one is. This is from the passenger front on +1 sized 18" rims for my b5 s4. Only like 4 days on the track and like 10k miles, if that. I only noticed this after my last track day at Lime Rock. Thoughts?

Default My understanding is that street tires (especially full tread) tend to chunk when overheated.

All of mine look like that after a some days this spring at both LRP and NHIS.

I used to have to take a brand new tire and shave it to half tread to prevent chunking..

Yup, that's a perfect example of chunking.
