Default Depends on the rallymaster and the type of road rally

Generally they are loads of fun.

Default Done er.. a few

Been rallying fo the last 26 years actually.

Like Daphne says, it depends SOLELY on who puts it on. Coulld be loads of fun or a real bummer.

Default Both

Depends on how patient and understanding a co-driver you have.
Most are pretty liesurely and simple. However, some more professional events can be really tough. Like they said, depends on who puts it on.
My personal favorites are TSD rallies on gravel roads with 'brisk' speeds (usually set at the posted limit). May sound dull until you're rocketing down a 1.5 lane dirt road, in the dark, maybe in the rain, at 35mph and are running behind.
You'll need to try a few to get your feet wet and decide what you like. Just worry about finishing the first few, not placing. Like anything else, it's never as easy as it first appears.
Hey, I have a few trophies, and I suck.

Default I agree: gravel + night + "brisk" is great fun...

Throw in some snow and it becomes ideal. I use a 1000$ car, which makes it even more fun (in case you wad it up in a ditch).

Default If...

..you're behind, what are you doing going 35mph?

Remember that next control could be right around the next corner..stand on it and get that time made up pronto!

Default lol, no kidding.

our last TSD, we thought we were out of it because of a max late so we kinda drove the rest of the checkpoints "faster" to at least have some fun.

finished with 3 max earlies (30minutes). woops

still came in 6th though!
