pads for the track that don't have such toxic dust? That (Hawk dust) stuff just eats the finish on my wheels!

Brake dust
Best thing to do is to wash off the wheels immediately after an event. If they get wet, that's when the dust turns into rust, or other cruft that you will have an extremely hard time removing.
Ferodo DS3000's have paint friendly dust. You can also call Cobalt Friction and ask them about their compounds. I know the GT Spec VR is a bit caustic like the Hawk Blues, but not quite as bad. They do have some track compounds that are paint friendly. I just don't know which ones.

A recent Hawk HP+/Blue thread ...
from Corner Carvers. I'm currently using the Ferodo DS3000 for a track pad and am very pleased with it's performance.<ul><li><a href="http://corner-carvers.com/forums/showthread.php?s=d4bdd3efa585e6bb0abab44e360395cf& amp;threadid=10198">Hawk Brake Pads</a></li></ul>

Ehhhhhhhhh...
Depends what brake setup you're running really.
I'm running stoptechs up front and stock in the rear. Hawk HT10s (VERY aggressive) up front and HP+ in the rear (tame street/track pads) and I still get some lockup at Road America coming into turn 5 downhill. To be honest I'm not sure what I'm going to do in the rear calipers, and I'm due for new pads there too.
