Default cobalt GTR-VR spec pads - anyone running these?

I know a few a4 guys running them on stock brakes, but no S4's or anyone w/ a big brake upgrade. Looking for impressions of performance, wear on rotors, etc. Thanks!

Default I could let you know after next weekend.

I just ordered them based their recommendation. I've don't have much experience though with any other pads besides pagid oranges and porterfield r4 on the track.

I believe that VonK does. He might run the VX, but I'm not sure.

Default I run them

They are extremely good. They require a surprising amount of heat to work well though. Even on a car as heavy as an S4, they may not bite as well when it's cold outside.

I will caveat this by saying that I run them on my Integra, so it's considerably lighter, but I'm basing my statements on what VonK has told me, and by the fact that they are used on some fast race car Mustangs with no ducting.

Default Re: no ducting and a heavy car

This is the result with one of my Alcon's -- the one crack in the center goes all the way thru. That day I was using the Ferodo DS3000, which I really do like. The complete story is in the A8/S8 forum Here.

Default yeah but randy, you could be running ebc greens, eventually rotors wear out

judging from the amount of rust on that rotor I thinking they were due for a change before that track day.
