Convertibles no longer "verboten" at ACNA driving school?

I'm guessing he means scooch while they're measuring. Of course, if it's about safety...
... then I see your point.
I'm always amazed by the roll hoops that satisfy SCCA standards, like the Miatas and British racers that have no windscreens and the roll cage is behind the driver's head. If there is a rollover, isn't the driver exposed?

Hmm, what didn't you like the way the club was run?
I don't know which way the club is heading, but I liked Randy Pobst and other drivers being allowed to attend events, and it would have been nice for some of the good directors to continue to serve (e.g. Craig Leichty). I hope that doesn't change.

I very much dislike the way a lot of things have been handled. It's not Craig I have an issue with.
FWIW, the amendments were horrific and I'm dismayed that they passed. Why any voting member would vote themselves FURTHER from a democracy (it's now nigh-impossible to call a special meeting) or vote a PAID EMPLOYEE (executive director) into a voting position on the executive commitee, I cannot understand.

I'm less concerned about the 'pro drivers' and more concerned about the way the board has...
taken the way for the membership to have any ability to directly influence the club's agenda. Plus giving the executive director a vote was a debacle.
