Was at a cool autocross yesterday
the track was a replica of last year's nationals at Topeka, so it was pretty fast compared to some slow ones that they have around here. imho all autocrosses should be like this..
121 entrants (club record), about 10 women drivers, and alot of different cars (from a camaro SS to an echo hatchback).
highlight of the day was a car (small sprint? or geo metro) that rolled! driver was ok I think, but taken to the hospital for checkup. car's passenger a-piller was crushed in, luckily there was no passenger in the car at the time.
another reminder that cages are good, even in a somewhat mundane event like an auto-x.
I'll try to post pics soon, and get the video footage of the crash
