Ecclestone has said a US race was not vital to F1......what do you guys think?

He said that last year too. He's full of sh*t. There has been a recent clamour
to even host TWO F1 races in the US. He's just posturing for his price. He's a first class jerk, and should be in an assisted living senior complex.

The track at Indy is kind of boring compared to others. I'd love to see them here at Miller BUT
A. Its Utah and the F1 crowd would refuse to come here.
B. It costs at least $20million to get F1 certified (Miller is the rank below that), and Larry Miller after putting in $90+million into the track refuses to pay Bernie the extortion fee (justifiably so).
I mean the track would be great for them, the facilities are F1 level. But it would never happen.

I think Road America would be cool, but not sure they could pony up Bernie's ransom.
It would be cool for them to return to Long Beach, also, Laguna is an FIA track I believe.
