Default F-1 Rumor mill part deux. You'd better be sitting down for this one.

That wold be a major switch, given that most have gone from open wheel to tintops. I actually hope he pulls it off.

http://nascar.speedtv.com/article/cup-f-i-drive-set-for-kyle-busch/</a

Good then he'll realize why tintops drivers would never make it in F1

Default Mario Andretti won the Daytona 500 long before he ever won the WDC....

But then, Kyle Bush is no Mario Andretti.

Default To be fair, you'd need to give someone many, many hours of track time before you judge.

Those cars are so different that it's invalid to just plug them into each others cars and compare. The F1 guy might be able to get a NASCAR around an oval pretty quick, but how would they handle three across, bumper-to-bumper at 190MPH? Both are hard, but with different skill sets.

This is just a replay of Montoya and Gordon from a few years ago - strictly for publicity

Default Agree, but, recall that when Gordon ran the previous version Williams at Indy,

he ran it fast enough to have qualified.

Default "I'd like to thank KFC, Viagra, Kotex, Drakkar, Banquet Dinners, Slim Jim and baby Jeebus

for this opportunity to drive this here little rice burner deely-bob thingy with all the wings like you see on those Hondas drivin' around the Taco Time parkin' lot..."

publicity stunt. Odds he pulls a Richard Hammond and takes 10 minutes to get it out of the pits; 7:5.

Disparate skill sets. You find the "drivers" when NASCAR runs Watkins / Sears
