This has not been a good year for Rally in the US....
On Saturday, Subaru USA factory driver Mark Lovell and his co-driver, Roger Freeman were killed on the 1st stage of the Oregon Trails rally when their car went off about a mile in.
:-(
And for Audi content, the TT rally car rolled on the 2nd stage of the rally.

No word yet on the Rally-L
Any details found anywhere yet?
Audi content- Why didn't the TT finish STPR? We saw them at the re-seed, then POOF, no more.
BTW, Felix has the car ready to go, we're entered for Maine. 21st on the road based on the current seeding.

Yeah, Holy crap just about covers it
Completely shocking. Top competitor in probably the best prepared car.
We were behind Lovell on the practice stage at STPR 2 years ago. Had a blast watching do a few launches on the transit. He was having fun. We, of course, just sat there wishing we had half the HP he had.

That was really sad. They had a tribute to them when it was on SPEED channel.
Mark Lovell was shown holding his young son. Sigh. Both guys looked like they were at the top of their game with lots of quality life ahead. The short tribute to them was very bittersweet.
