Default Info about Thunderhill Raceway

How far from civilisation is Thunderhill ?

Is there anywhere on-site, or nearby that has a compressor to pump up my tyres ?

How about food supplies ? What's the on-site stuff like ?

Thanks,
Mike.

Default Some info..

THill is just over 7 miles from the hotels, gas and food. It's out in the farmland away from I-5.

There is a compressor hose (at the tin storage shed) and gas onsite. Air is free, gas is not. IIRC. 91 octane is $3, and 100 is $5. Better to at least fill up back in Willows.

Depending on the event they do have the food trailer open. Most events I have been to provide lunch. The food sold is just the basics. Hotdogs, burgers, chicken, sodas, water.

Just take water with you.

Also depending on the event, you will be using port-a-poties, or the real bathrooms will be unlocked. One has running water, the other doesn't. I have experienced both.

Have fun!<ul><li><a href="http://www.thunderhill.com">http://www.thunderhill.com</a</li></ul>

Default if you get chicken fried steak at the Black Bear and ask for only a bit of gravy...

they'll put only 1 gallon on instead of 2 so ask for a TINY bit of gravy.

Also, there's a relatively convenient Walmart on the way.

Default The Black Bear is the best for breakfast

Much better than Denny's. Good corned beef hash.
