Default Input on open lapping sessions in

SoCal. The only time I seem to find publicised open sessions, I have no idea who the hosting club or group is, so I have no idea if they are "safe" out on the track or just idiots (wish I lived in NorCal sometimes!). Anyways, if anyone here tracks in SoCal and can provide me with info, Thanks! I get tired of driving across state lines or to the oposite end of Cali to have some fun!!

TracQuest is good for all experience levels. Lots of intstructors for novices and intermediate students. Open passing in the instructor group - very controlled passing in novice groups. Great food, etc. If it is important, there is usually a decent turn out of Audis.

SpeedVentures is a good bunch BUT it is run as a time trial and DE so insurance may be an issue for you. Very well run and very safe. Also open passing in the fast group. Very controlled passing in novice groups.

Buttonwillow does a clinic a few times a year. More for beginners but good drills and good instuction.

These are the ones I have personal experience with.

Default Here'a a resource

I run with the Speedventures group usually. I would recommend them. If you are tracking your Audi it would be nice to see another one there once in a while. They do time trials but you don't have to rent a transponder. Its also up to you if you want to run in the red/open passing group.
Feel free to email me for more info.

Track Day Listing
