Will the new section of track be open, full 4 miles or what?

At this point, it is unlikely the additional 2 miles will be complete. We will be running on the existing 2 mile section.

Dean, what prerequisits do we need to sign up for the instructor clinic? I'd like to sign up and I'd also like to know who will be conducting the clinic.

Thanks,

Patrick Lindsey

Default One other question:

Would it be possible to go for JUST the instructor clinic and not attend the weekend driving school? It's a NASA race weekend at Buttonwillow.

Default My guess is no. Glacier Lakes uses the entire weekend to conduct theirs.

It took three full days. Different chapters may run it differently, but I'm guessing it's a full weekend.

Default Re: One other question:

A honest interest in teaching, not just saving money on events. Beleive me, the amount of work you will do more than makes up for the savings, and we want people who really want to teach.

At a bare minimum, I think 5 Audi events, or 10+ track days. More is better.

We will help you learn them, but good communication and human observation skills are a plus.

The clinic will be put on by Golden Gate Chapter instructors. The exact format and instruction roles are still being finalized.

Yes, you could come to the clinic only I guess. Rather than trying to redesign the web site for that, email me, and we will figure it out in terms of registration.

Default LOL!!! You pat....you have to know how to drive first...

I kid, I think you would be a very good instructor as your knowledge is extensive...I will see you there on Friday....hey how about this...lets meet up Thursday....grab some dinner and drinks. I still owe you from NYC.

Thoughts?

Default Dean...

My take, is that Pat is a very helpful and knowledge person...he has helped me on several occasions...I think he would be a great addition to the club and I think saving money is the farthest thing from his mind.

Also, Jen and I are looking forward to the event..have a great week.

When I attended the one in Pahrump...you could have done that. Email Dean and ask him.
