My first track event
I went to Putnam Park in Indiana today and it was awesome. I got to see some Lotus(s),a Corvette C5 and Z06, NSX, WRX, 3000GT Turbo, Toyota Spyder, Avant. I was in level one (novice) and there were about 15 cars. We got to run 5 twenty min. sessions on the track. On one session I had a trainer drive my car with me riding so he could show me the line. Unfortunately I had forgot to turn off the ESP and remembered about half way through. When we were finished my brembo rotors and hawk pads were smoking. Once they cooled down they were fine. I really had lots of fun.

When I was instructing in his car at Sears..his brake pads were smoking pretty badly...we got black flagged twice I believe. The pads seemed fine after they cooled down a bit. His were porterfield R4S pads.
