NASA racer...a couple pics from saturday
sorry I didn't get to meet you but I ttalked to a friend of your that drove the red 280 sx. He said you were out getting food. We also didn't get to stay for the enduro. how did your do? I'm also curious, what lap times were you running. Sorry about the pics the digital camera didn't have the best zoom. Justthough you might want them.

I got him with my sweeping second hand in the dark doing around 2:05-08 somewhere
it is hard to do because number one I could barely see my watch (I was an official in the pitlane) and it was sometimes hard to find the cars (though their green light helps). It was wild out there and there was a constant dust storm in the pits from guys putting wheels off in the turn before the straight. I heard about and saw evidence of lots of car to car contact. Jerry Brown had someone go underneath him in Talladega and drift up into him. Yikes.
I do know that Nasaracer only pitted once and they were back out there in a blink compared to most crews.
A few BMW clubracers had some serious accidents. Tammy Hull totalled her E30 M3 on Saturday and another one had serious damage on Sunday.

It was me. I came over by the civic once and talked to the guy with the 280 sx for a while...
We were gonna stay later for the enduro but my dad wanted to head home.
I was curious on the times because I lapped a 2:11.34 with a good amount of traffic entering button hook till the line. We had hot lap set up in the car. I just wanted to see how I compared to someof the race cars

I'll definatly make a point of meeting up
at the next event. I'm not sure when the next event is but we may not have the Audi any longer when that time comes. We are looking for a replacement more suited for the track and AWD(WRX?).

Lap time comparisons
I ran 2:02 in the Spec Racer Ford (I think I saw a 2:01 but not sure). Fastest Spec Miatas were (I think) 2:04. There was a Porsche and a Mazda in Super Unlimited that ran 1:55's.

Beautiful Avant..
We noticed the brembos and wheels. I'm shocked we never ran into each other being that we were back and forth so much. what else is done to that. We almost bought one of those but opted for the TT because my dad wanted a small car and at the time couldn't find any manual S4 sedans. I have a pic of your car too but its on a b&w roll of 35mm film..not the digital. I can make a print if you want.
