Grr... damn uphill.

I had a mis-hap here and glanced this armco at the top of the hill... took myself out while leading a race, a lead that was growing each lap. Fun track, no time to rest though!

Dude the uphill is AWESOME in the skippy cars...especially now that
theres different pads on the cars. Now they have much more initial bite so to be fast you really can't do a "light brush of the brakes before the corner or you'll just lose too much speed. Now to be quick you HAVE to do the uphill with just a lift then back to WFO.
BTW the invitational at the Glen was awesome.. all the faster guys spanked the Grand-Am drivers that ran with us all weekend, except for Roberto Moreno who did'nt qualified and started both races DFL. I got passed by him at the apex of 11 coming to the checkered for P5, after I started P10..crappy qualifing with my drafting partner that was having car issues...
Hope the recovery is going well Jon.. git back at...Roger C

Oh trust me, there was no brake brush involved when I touched the armco.. :)
I barely lifted that time through... which I immediately regreted.
Glad to hear everything went well at the Glenn, I've been reading the threads on the Team Juicy Forums, wish I could have joined you guys.

I got to race a NASCAR Winston Cup car this past weekend. Wow...that thing can stick in the corners!
